Operationally positioned as another Newedge branch, Altura Markets gives access to derivatives markets worldwide, combining local presence with global reach. The support of three of the most important banks in the Eurozone provides us with the necessary strength on our balance to fulfill our long-term objectives. Altura Markets is an equal joint venture between BBVA and Newedge, and in just 10 years has become a leading brokerage firm in futures and options in the Iberian Peninsula. The success of Altura Markets is based on the compatibility of its two shareholders, Spain’s second bank BBVA, and Newedge, the world’s most important brokerage firm in execution and clearing of listed derivatives.
This combination allows us to be at the forefront in relation to connectivity, accessibility and products, which, combined with our local presence, sets us apart from our competitors. Our goal is to ensure our clients’ benefit in an impartial manner, removing any kind of conflicts of interest.
